It all started in 2010 when Dirk and his wife got involved in the Dave Ramsey FPU program. Since then, they've achieved so much together. Paulette started Grace Dinners, a program that provides free meals to those in need, while pushing Dirk to go back to school to become an electrician. He graduated in 2015 and completed a boilers training in 2016. In 2018, Dirk took the Penn Foster's Home Inspection course, and quickly became an inspector with EVS. He completed the Kaplan University Home Inspection course in 2019. The following year, he received the Radon testing and mitigation certification. Dirk then pursued his masters at ICA Home Inspector Course for the state of Florida in 2021. We have achieved so much, including becoming a Certified Master Inspector and starting D&P Home Inspection & Home Watch Services. Every year we do more education and strive to become the most honest, truthful, and dependable inspection company around. Not only that, but we also active in giving back to their community by working and donating a portion of each inspection with non-profit organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Encounter Church, and Choices Pregnancy Center.

The story began in 2008 when Dirk met his future wife, Paulette. Since then, our lives have been intertwined with the values of faith, community, and financial wisdom. Engaging deeply in our church, we transformed from not knowing Jesus to developing a profound understanding of God's teachings.
In 2010, we took a significant step by participating in the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University (FPU) program. This educational experience introduced us to the principles of money management and proper investment, grounded in the belief that all we have belongs to God. This foundational knowledge has been instrumental in our journey.
Paulette, inspired by a heart for giving, initiated Grace Dinners, a program providing free meals to those in need. Simultaneously, Dirk pursued his education, completing training to become an electrician in 2015 and a boilers course in 2016.
In 2018, Dirk ventured into the field of home inspection, completing courses with Penn Foster and Kaplan University in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Continuing the pursuit of excellence, Dirk obtained Radon testing and mitigation certification in 2019. In 2021, he earned his master's at ICA Home Inspector Course, specializing in the state of Florida, with a focus around The Villages. The pinnacle came in 2022 when Dirk achieved the title of Certified Master Inspector (CMI), signifying the highest level of competency in the inspection industry.
With the establishment of D&P Home Inspection & Home Watch Services, we extend our expertise to not only serve our clients but also support other home inspectors and businesses in their growth, particularly in and around The Villages. Each year, we prioritize continuous education, striving to become the most honest, truthful, and dependable inspection company in the industry.
